An initial consultation with a dentist will help you to be guided on the best course of treatment for you. Your dentist will take into consideration your desires, budget and general and dental health to find minimally invasive and long-lasting options for you to consider. Our team is friendly and approachable and will endeavour to find a solution to your needs.

Crowns

A dental crown can help to rebuild a broken or decayed tooth. It is also often recommended following a root canal therapy to help to provide strength for a weakened tooth. Crowns are made from porcelain, porcelain/metal or metal alloys. Crowns can be used to improve the appearance of discoloured or broken down teeth but also give strength, durability and stability.

We are pleased to offer same day crowns and other restorative treatment such as inlays, onlays and veneers. We have brand new state of the art equipment and software that allows us to scan 3D images of your mouth to create a brand new tooth. Sometimes your dentist will suggest a laboratory crown which will involve two appointments. We always use local Australian dental laboratories for our work.

Veneers

Veneers can be used to help treat broken down, discoloured, chipped, crooked, crowded or oddly shaped teeth. They are thin tooth coloured porcelain layer that is bonded on to front teeth to improve their appearance. Alternatively a tooth coloured composite veneer made of filling material can be used also. Composite veneers are cheaper but do not last as long as porcelain veneers, though they can last several years if cared for well. Our dentists will help you to determine which material is best for your needs.

Invisalign and Orthodontics

Teeth straightening can be achieved by conventional orthodontics (braces) or Invisalign which involves clear removable aligners (trays). Our dentists can help guide you to which option is most suitable and offer you referral to one of many highly qualified specialists in Canberra.
